Last night was hot, instead we wake up this morning with a gray sky and a tune chilly. I feel a little 'ridiculous with flip flops and a leather jacket to breakfast (bar opposite the hotel, kaffe and mega brioche 2), in fact I go back to put on your running shoes and start exploring the city.
With a little 'disappointed discover that the Unter den Linden is a huge construction site that reaches the Brandenburg Gate. At least the sun is starting to get to see (and is very strong when it comes out). We walk up to Checkpoint Charlie and then decide to change the area.
The station on the U1 Schlesisches Tor is a small gem, the train runs on elevated passing between the buildings. Just below the station there is an old ticket booth converted into small Sandwiches, where we eat a delicious cheeseburger (drinking beer, now it is implied). Here we are in Kreuzberg, and if you come around here take a trip in Schlesische Straße: there are a lot of venues that are worth seeing.
After being nearly run over by a cyclist who was 60 km / h out of the bike lane (which I also shouted something I did not understand but that was certainly not an invitation to dinner) we went to see the part of the wall that is in Mühlenstraße. --- I open just a little digression, since I will devote a whole post to the subject. I was here in 2009, when they were finishing the restoration of all the murals and there were still many artists at work. In just four years it's all changed a lot, and now they are even building the palaces. This place remains one of my favorites, monte white but I found it quite resigned. ---
Let's go back to the hotel for lunch, but before we take a walk on the Ku'damm (it is a huge course, to be seen in several occasions). For lunch we stopped at an Italian restaurant in the hotel street. We eat really well and the staff is very kind, also is definitely the sun came out so it's time to go and put something of summer!
The afternoon we spend the Park of Charlottenburg Palace (Schlosspark). Take bus 109 on Ku'damm and go down to the stop of the park (Schloss). I do not want to visit the Castle, I prefer to enjoy the beautiful park. You have to drive along the perimeter of the building and its walls, and once you pass a beautiful avenue you come to a beautiful well kept garden. We cross it and come to a lake, where we sit in the sun in the company of other people and a good variety of birds, who fearlessly approaching me to scrounge something to eat (which I have not).
The park is huge but we visit only a part. Looking back we are still a small part of one of the benches that are located on the riverfront, and we look pass the tourist ferries with tables ready for dinner.
We leave the park through a side entrance that leads us in a small park on the river, where a man dressed in white feathers and blond wig is sitting on a bench drinking whiskey laughing, his eyes lost in the river. I should not but I turn to look at him several times, monte white is now far and I only see a heavily made-up face (beautiful, to tell the truth) monte white and I think that sometimes life is really sad. I leave aside thoughts too dark and deep: I'm on vacation and the only feeling that must prevail monte white is the joy, and I go with Lore table at a nice restaurant near the Castle Park. It 'a brewery, and there is no need to consult on whether or not to stop: it is understood. Needless to say, the beer is good strategic, and we enjoy under a bright sun that there is sunbathing.
We arrive to the appointment in Schöneberg with Pocket and Cigo a bit 'late and we do bring in a restaurant where you eat schnitzel (breaded then that is the slice, but a giant version). monte white Really a dinner monte white with all the trimmings, with a plate so abundant that I have avanzarne a bit '. We are a bit 'worried: Fornella and Brown (the other two components of the Family reunion) should arrive monte white in Berlin monte white to the 23 but do not know if they are going to leave because monte white of a strike by the airline staff. Fortunately, over dinner come good news: you are boarding!
Like any "reception committee" that respects, we go all four to take them to the airport (Schoenefeld), where they arrive even earlier. Returning home the enthusiasm leads us to make a little 'healthy mess, but concediamocelo, that in the end we are still Italian. We split the station where the four of them down while we continue: it is a pity having to already be separated, but we salute you with the promise that tomorrow we'll tuuuutto the day together!
(Communication Service: I know that you do, first use the nicknames and then shamelessly piazzo your faces without asking permission
